You Knew It Was Coming...

...knitting talk.

Thank the gods it's far later than most of y'all are up, right?

Well I've been thinking. Partly along the lines of eco-consciousness that I mentioned before, I've been thinking a lot more about voluntary simplicity and making use of the things I have instead of being wasteful and greedy. So that means thinking about stash knitting. And there's quite a lot of stash that I could be knitting.

A lot of the stuff I have is meant for projects. Sweaters and bags and gifts and things. I think I want to really delve into them for a change. Finally knit some of the stuff I've been thinking about since very early on.

It would be great if I could finish some of my UFOs though too. I have a hat, some dolls, a sweater, socks, shawls, glittens, and gods only know what else waiting to be worked on and finished. Not to mention the stuff on my needles...tonight it's mousies, but on top of that there are three pairs of socks, a hat (that's not technically on the needles yet, but which is as good as there), a set of gauntlets, shawls, and I swear there's something else I'm forgetting.

So that's what I'm going to be working on in August, at least. See how much of a dent I can make in things.
